What made you get into Behavioral Therapy?
I decided to take an elective in Applied Behavior Analysis during my junior year in college and fell in love with it. It all just clicked. I switched my major and never looked back.
What do you think the best part of working at The REC is?
The best part of working at The REC is the supportive atmosphere. Everyone builds each other up.
What is your favorite part of the day?
My favorite part of the day is watching the kids come in. It’s fun to see that they have a smile on their face and are excited to be here.
What is your favorite memory of working here so far?
My favorite memory at The REC was watching the kids give the lady who drove the ice cream truck a Thank You card at the end of the summer. They were excited all day to see her.
What piece of advice to you have for anyone going into the field of Behavioral Therapy?
My advice would be to find a mentor in the field who has experience and is great at what they do. Ask them questions and learn as much from them as you can!
